Privacy Policy
What the demo version of NewsHBO 24/7 stores, what third parties load, and how to ask questions.
This policy describes the demo version of NewsHBO 24/7. We have tried to write it in plain language and to describe what actually happens rather than what a typical site might claim. It does not carry an effective date because the demo has no formal release.
What We Do Not Have
- No user accounts or sign-in.
- No server-side database of visitors.
- No advertising or tracking pixels.
- No payment processing.
What Stays in Your Browser
Some features use your browser's localStorage. This data lives on your device and is not sent to us:
- Saved stories you bookmark.
- Your theme preference.
- Newsletter preview signups, described on the Morning Call Sheet page.
- Any other preference listed on the Cookie & Storage Preferences page.
You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Contact Forms
Our contact links use mailto. They open your own email app with a pre-addressed message. We receive nothing unless you choose to send an email, and then we see what you send, including your email address.
Third-Party Resources
To display the site properly, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and styling from the Tailwind CDN. Those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, under their own policies. Images on the site were generated for the design mock-up.
Children
The site is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Your Choices
You can block third-party requests with your browser or an extension, though the site may look different. You can clear localStorage to remove saved items.
Questions
Write to [email protected]. Because the demo has no backend, we hold very little about you, but we will answer honestly. If this site becomes a live service, we will publish a revised policy first.
Independence
NewsHBO 24/7 is independent and not affiliated with any studio, network or streamer, and no data is shared with one.
