Actress Catherine O’Hara was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital in “serious” condition, where she later died, Page Six has learned.
Paramedics were called to the “Schitt’s Creek” star’s Brentwood home at 4:48 a.m. Friday morning for a medical aid call, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson.

Multiple cars were seen outside O’Hara’s home.

The patient was transported in “serious condition.”
It is not yet clear what caused the O’Hara’s death, but the legendary actress died “following a brief illness,” according to her agency, Creative Artists Agency.
Her reps did not elaborate.
However, O’Hara suffered from Situs inversus — an extremely rare condition in which all of an individual’s organs appear on the opposite side of their body than the regular population.
Her liver, for example, appeared on her left and her heart on the right.
The condition is typically harmless, but can make future complications more difficult to diagnose because symptoms might appear differently in those with mirrored organs.

Catherine O’Hara starred in a number of television shows and movies including “The Last of Us.”
Just about 1 in every 10,000 people are diagnosed with Situs inversus, which is more common in males, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Enrique Iglesias and Donny Osmond also live with the condition.
It is not clear whether the condition was linked to O’Hara’s death.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bob Welch, and their two sons, Matthew, 31, and Luke, 29.
O’Hara kicked off her career in 1974 in The Second City, a performance arts theater, in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.
However, she rose to fame when she took on the role of Delia Deetz in Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice.”
