I Think 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Needs To Change After The Last Season (Will It Ever Get Canceled?)

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is in serious need of a makeover. The show has been around for eight seasons now, and with every new season, the show gets more and more tedious to watch. I’m getting tired of watching the same faces on my TV screen week after week. For instance, I think I’ve watched Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo on TV every week for four back-to-back seasons since they started their Before the 90 Days journey on season 5.

I’ve seen fans starting petitions for problematic cast members such as Big Ed Brown and Angela Deem to be canceled, but Happily Ever After? is where they found a home for several seasons. Big Ed kept breaking up with Liz and Angela kept abusing Michael without a care in the world. Something tells me the next season will repeat the same patterns. Is it time for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? to retire?

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? was first announced in August 2016. It was going to document life after the 90 Days of some of the franchise’s most popular couples by then, Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali, Loren and Alexei Brovarnik, Russ and Paola Mayfield, Kyle and Noon Huckabee, Brett Otto and Daya De Arce, and Melanie and Devar Walters. The show premiered on September 11, 2016, with the couples looking back at their K-1 visa journeys as they compared it to their life after getting married to make some shocking discoveries.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

I observed how their lives after getting married had become more complicated, which meant viewers like me were in store for a lot of drama and on-screen disasters. For instance, Mohamed and Daniele had already split, with Mohamed leaving her house to move to Miami with a woman he’d met online. The most perfect 90 Day Fiancé couple to ever exist – Loren and Alexei – were fighting a lot as I wondered if they would even make this marriage survive. Loren and Alexei had communication issues, and she was hiding secrets, making Alexei question her intentions.

90 Day Fiancé: HEA Has Had Poor Casting

I’m Tired Of Watching The Same People All The Time

Compared to 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 1, Loren and Alexei who were cast in season 8 had issues that I could never relate to. Loren wanted a “natural mommy makeover” after giving birth to her third baby. Alexei was trying to stop her from getting a second “makeover” when she didn’t feel satisfied with the first. Not only were the storylines outlandish, they even featured Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods, a couple that had nothing to do with the “90 Day Fiancé” visa and weren’t even married!

There was the pair of Angela and Michael who showed up when half of the season was over. They were one couple fans wanted information about, but the cameras weren’t around when Michael walked out of Angela’s house. Sophie Sierra and Rob Warne were already separated when they started the season. They could have been replaced by a former couple with an interesting storyline that didn’t stem from “online cheating.” I felt the show was going in circles with every storyline, especially when the outcome was known to us, Instagram addicts.

The Happily Ever After? Cast Reveal Too Many Spoilers Online

Why Is The Cast Hell Bent On Making Their Own Lives Miserable?

The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 cast itself spoiled the season for everyone. I already knew what was going to happen in the last episode with Angela and Michael when she announced that Michael had disappeared from her Georgia house weeks before the show premiered. Jasmine already had a new boyfriend she had “soft launched” on her social media pages. I’ve come across Jasmine’s boyfriend publicly flirting with her on her Instagram. Then there was Loren who had gotten her surgery done almost a year ago and documented every step of it on her Instagram.

Liz Woods had also started posting about her new boyfriend on her Instagram. It was a known fact that Liz and Big Ed were not together because Liz herself had revealed it. The only thing I didn’t know was why Big Ed and Liz had split. There wasn’t anything that made me want to look forward to a new episode every Sunday. Why would I, if I was getting all my news from following the cast? Perhaps the next time a season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is announced, I’ll unfollow the cast before the premiere.

However, even that won’t work since I was aware of Liz and Big Ed’s or Sophie and Rob’s splits months before they were revealed as 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? cast members.

Could Happily Ever After? Get Canceled Or Replaced?

I Think The Spin-off Should Retire

As long as the OG 90 Day Fiancé show exists, it makes sense for the show to have a spin-off, which is HEA, but they could consider repeating the main cast after they marry as a follow-up instead of getting older cast members back, which fans have me have gotten tired of watching. The likes of Big Ed Brown and Angela Deem might thankfully not return for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 9 since they are both single, but nothing is going to stop Loren from getting a second or third natural makeover.
