The news was confirmed by his wife and sister through their social media accounts, where they said goodbye with heartbreaking messages.

Shawn J died on Sunday, October 6, around 4:00 AM, after being urgently hospitalized due to health issues.

The TikToker reported suffering from severe swelling in his throat, which was diagnosed as thyroid problems.

With over 458,000 followers on TikTok, Shawn J had informed his followers a week before his passing that he was experiencing health problems. In an Instagram video, he mentioned that his throat had swollen, making it difficult for him to breathe. Despite medical efforts, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away.

Shawn J made a prediction about the P. Diddy case before his death. Days before he passed away, he released his last TikTok, which focused on this prediction.

‘So this is my prediction about the Diddy case, and I’m 98% sure this is probably going to happen… I feel like many celebrities are connected to this case and know for sure that they are going to fall, that they will start to die mysteriously… They would prefer to go to another country, change their identity… and this isn’t too far-fetched because a lot of people think they got away with it… The last time something like this happened, like the situation with Jeffrey Epstein, what happened to him?… I wouldn’t be surprised if we woke up tomorrow and realized he had the same fate as Epstein…’ he shared.
