Cardi B may have ruled out a reconciliation with Offset, but they apparently still have the same taste in nightlife — as was demonstrated when they separately showed up to the same New York City nightclub this week.

In the early hours of Sunday (October 6), according to TMZ, Cardi was at midtown Manhattan spot The Stafford Room when, to her surprise, the DJ mentioned that her ex was in the building.

Per the outlet, the former couple were not in the club together for very long, and didn’t interact during their overlapping stays.

Meanwhile, Cardi is determined to let her fans know that her breakup is the real deal, and has said that people thinking otherwise need to check themselves.

During a recent live session on social media, Bardi attempted to shut down rumors that her breakup was a publicity stunt — rumors that started flying several days ago when it became known that the estranged couple are currently staying in the same house.

The “WAP” spitter denied using her breakup with Offset for PR, saying that it would damage Offset’s career, which would ultimately be bad for her, too.

“Do you really think that my baby dad is going to be like, ‘Yeah, do that. I’m gonna sacrifice my career that worked for so hard, for your [stuff]?’” she asked. “No. Be real about yourself.”

“And also,” Cardi continued, “I don’t really want to hurt my baby father’s career. I have a nanny. The nanny’s $700 an hour. Count that up and see how much. And that’s for one baby.

“My kids’ school is $45,000 a year. And I already got two of them in the school. You think I pay that alone? Absolutely not. I don’t want my baby daddy to go broke or nothing, ’cause guess who help[s] over here? You can leave, but you gonna help with these muthafucking kids.”

Cardi also pointed out the double standard inherent in her being accused of staging a breakup for publicity, while the cheating rumors that dogged Offset throughout their relationship were never questioned in that way.

“Why is it when I separate myself and my baby father, it’s a publicity stunt; but every single time that the n-gga was doing him and y’all wanted to throw it in my face, it wasn’t a publicity stunt? Every single time that a new bitch would come around or a new rumor would come around, y’all be the first ones laughing and gagging. That wasn’t a publicity stunt. But when I leave, it is a publicity stunt… Y’all just mad that you can’t throw a n-gga’s [cheating] in my face anymore. That’s the issue.”
