Haunting Posts: Messages shared by Elena Moore shortly before her d3ath are drawing renewed attention for what they may have foreshadowed
(NewsNation) — In the weeks before her death, South Carolina personal trainer Elena Moore shared a series of cryptic posts on her second Instagram account.
“I hate what you did to me,” one post read. “Now all I feel is this exhausting hatred sitting inside my chest because of you. I never wanted to become this person. I never wanted to look at someone I once loved with disgust and resentment.
“But you turned my love into something painful, something heavy, something I now have to heal from every day. I hate what you did to me. I hate the memories that won’t leave me alone — and more than anything, I hate that a part of me still mourns the person I thought you were.”

TMZ, which obtained the messages, reported that friends said Moore had been cutting “toxic people” out of her life. Others told NewsNation she feared for her life in the days before her disappearance and had recently been released from a mental health facility.
Moore’s husband, Brannon Slice, reported her missing. Police have not named him a suspect or a person of interest.
Her body was found six days after she was last seen leaving a Planet Fitness.
On Monday, the Lexington County coroner revealed her autopsy showed no evidence of traumatic injury — no bruising, lacerations, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, blunt force trauma, strangulation or other external injuries.
