A BRITISH wrestling fan who vanished after attending a WWE event in Las Vegas has been found dead – following an urgent appeal online.

Marc Izard, 43, had travelled to Sin City for WrestleMania weekend but was reported missing after suddenly disappearing.

He was last seen watching SmackDown at the T-Mobile Arena on April 17.

In the hours that followed, a desperate online appeal was launched to trace his whereabouts.

The post quickly gained traction, racking up more than a million views and being shared by WWE star Natalya.

In a tragic update, the Clark County Coroner’s Office confirmed Izard was found dead the day after he went missing.

His body was found in the 1700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, between East St. Louis Avenue and Oakley Boulevard.

The coroner’s office have not yet revealed his cause of death.

Alarm was first raised when Izard failed to board his return flight to the UK.

Friends and family said they also had been unable to contact him since the night of his disappearance.

Following the tragic news, YouTuber Perched On The Top Rope wrote on X: “I did not know Marc, but my friends remember seeing him at WWE World.

“My heart breaks for his family. He came to the USA to have a good time at WrestleMania and sadly passed away.

“May he rest in peace.”

Natalya, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart, shared an appeal earlier in the search.

“A member of our wrestling family, Marc Izard, is currently missing after WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas,” she wrote.

“His last known sighting was leaving the arena after SmackDown on April 17.

“His last photo was taken with me at my signing.

“Marc travelled from the UK and has not made it home or been in contact since.

“If you have any information, please reach out to the email listed in the poster as well as @LVMPD.

“Let’s come together and help bring Marc home safely.”

The UK Foreign Office confirmed to The Sun that they are “supporting the family of a British man who has died in Las Vegas and are in contact with the local authorities.”

This is not the first time a UK citizen has gone missing in Las Vegas.

In 2025, Paralympian Sam Ruddock was found safe after he disappeared for nearly two weeks.

The world para-cycling double-gold medallist travelled to America by himself for a holiday.

Like Izard, he was due to watch a wrestling event, but never turned up.

His friend Lucy Earl – a former GB sprint hurdler – told The Sun that it was very out of character for Ruddock.

A statement from the LVMPD revealed he had been safely located.
