The man collapsed at the waitress’s feet, his breath coming in ragged gasps as her whisper continued to echo in his ears like a summons from hell: “Do you remember that rainy night at the docks 10 years ago? My father trusted you, and you pushed him into the ocean just to steal this ring… Too bad for you, the ring you took that night was nothing but a fake.”
The entire hall held its breath. A horrifying truth was unveiled: the man who had been the CEO all this time was nothing more than a traitor, a murderer who had usurped the throne.
The CEO trembled, struggling to scream: “Security! Where are you? Kill them! This is a coup!”
But not a single person moved. The hulking guards who were supposed to be loyal to him stood as still as stone statues. On their phone screens, a high-priority command had just appeared: “THE TRUE MASTER HAS RETURNED. ANYONE WHO MOVES WILL BE WIPED FROM THE SYSTEM.”
At that moment, the 8-year-old boy stepped onto the stage, his eyes burning as he looked directly at the crowd of tycoons:
“For 10 years, my mother had to disguise herself as a servant, enduring every humiliation to track the footsteps of those who stained their hands with blood. Today, not only has this man’s wealth dropped to zero, but for everyone who signed that secret deal with him that night… check your bank balances now.”
A wave of panic swept through the room. Notification pings rang out incessantly like shots of mercy. Those who had just been mocking the waitress now turned deathly pale; some collapsed right where they stood.
The massive doors of the grand hall burst open once more. A man with a long scar across his face, sitting in a wheelchair yet possessing an aura as majestic as a god, was escorted in by a special task force.
“Father!” – the boy cried out, his coldness vanishing, replaced by tears of pure happiness.
The waitress—or rather, the First Lady of this financial empire—ran to his side. Ten years of patience, ten years of living in disguise to protect her only son and waiting for the day her husband, presumed dead, would return from the grave. As it turned out, he had been rescued by a family of fishermen and secretly treated for a decade, waiting for the perfect moment to launch this grand counter-attack.
Seeing the man he thought was long gone standing there in the flesh, the CEO’s mind completely shattered. He crawled frantically, begging for mercy: “Chairman… please, spare me… I was forced… I…”
The man in the wheelchair remained silent. He gently raised his wife’s hand, where the white diamond ring was shining at its most brilliant.
“This ring doesn’t just recognize a heartbeat; it recorded every word of your conversation that night. All the evidence has been sent directly to international investigators.”
Police sirens wailed outside the building. Red and blue lights flashed against the luxury glass, signaling the end of the reign of greedy men.
As the villains were led away, the space suddenly became unusually peaceful. The man held the hands of his wife and son, standing in the center of the hall—the very place where, just minutes ago, they had been humiliated.
“From today, this corporation will not just belong to our family; it will be dedicated to honoring honest workers.”
