Nancy went missing in the early hours of February 1 after, law enforcement said, she was abducted from her Arizona home. After her disappearance, search and rescue teams were sent out before the FBI was tapped in for a more wide-spread investigation. As part of the evidence uncovered from her home, investigators found doorbell camera footage of a masked man on her porch. It comes after a chilling new theory emerged on how Nancy Guthrie was sickeningly taken from her home.

However, the latest evidence was fresh with additional images “recovered from cameras at Nancy Guthrie’s home,” which were recovered in recent weeks and now being analyzed. These images were not the same as the doorbell camera, the journalist explained. Instead, they pointed at her swimming pool, backyard, and side yard.
This time, though, the uncovered evidence was only still images, rather than video. The photos were taken by a motion activated camera, only doing captures when movement was detected. Nonetheless, the photos did capture unidentified images in her yard from before the incident, but nothing from the time of the actual supposed abduction.

Brad Garret, ABC News contributor and retired FBI agent, said, “You might be able to go back and fill in who potentially could have been at Nancy’s house … This is pretty time-staking work, but again, it is leads or practices, techniques like that that can sometimes get you to the bad guy.”
According to Aaron, “it’s unclear” if the new images “will prove helpful.” However, the investigators are continuing to look for anything they possibly can to help bring Nancy home.
“The Pima County Sheriff’s Department continues to analyze various forms of evidence in the Nancy Guthrie case, including material from laboratories as well as video and images captured by cameras,” confirmed the authorities.

Additionally, investigators are still waiting on results from a mixed DNA sample found within the 84-year-old’s home. The sample was sent for to a Florida for testing.
Nancy’s family continues to call for public tips. In fact, their offer for a $1 million award still stands as they hope the “reward will convince someone to step forward.”
