Savannah Guthrie, the “Today” show anchor, posted home movies of her siblings alongside their mother, Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing from her Tucson-area home Feb. 1.
Savannah Guthrie’s Feb. 12 post on Instagram said, “Our lovely Mom. We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and hope”
The post did not give a year for the videos. They show Nancy Guthrie, clad in a blue dress, at a brick home, apparently the one she has lived in since 1975 and where she raised her children.
In the first shot, daughters Savannah and Annie wear matching outfits — white tops and dark skirts — and walk up to their mother to pose for the camera.
Another shot shows the daughters holding purple flowers. One of them holds a flower up to Nancy Guthrie’s nose.
The video ends with a black and white family portrait. Annie and her brother, Camron, flank their mother. Savannah, the youngest, is a toddler in the photo, sitting on her mother’s lap.
The video was set to music, the opening instrumental introduction to the 2011 song “May You Find A Light” by The Brilliance, a duo whose albums have ranked on Billboard magazine’s Christian charts.
The chorus of that song has this line: “May you find a light to guide you home.”
Other videos addressed ransom, pleaded for mother’s return
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing after she failed to show up at a friend’s house to watch a virtual church service. Investigators have released images from a doorbell camera of a person wearing a mask and gloves on the stoop of her front door in the pre-sunrise darkness of Feb. 1.
Savannah Guthrie has posted other videos since her mother’s disappearance.
Three of them seemed aimed directly at the person holding Nancy Guthrie for ransom.
Another posted Feb. 9 asked for the public to report any strange activity. “She was taken and we don’t know where,” Guthrie said. “We are in hour of desperation.”
The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the return of Nancy Guthrie or the arrest and conviction of anyone

EVERY YEAR ON OUR ANNIVERSARY, MY HUSBAND MADE A TOAST ABOUT THE WOMAN HE “ALMOST MARRIED.” THE YEAR MY SON ASKED ME WHY I WAS ALWAYS SECOND, I STOPPED SMILING
Every June 12th, my husband raised a glass and told the same story. It didn’t matter if we were at home, in a restaurant, or surrounded by twenty relatives in my in-laws’ backyard. He would stand up, clear his throat like he was about to give a speech worth remembering, and say: —“You know… if […]
