Law enforcement is working on an official description of the masked subject seen outside Nancy Guthrie’s home on the morning of her disappearance, Fox News Digital reports.
Newsweek reached out to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department via email Wednesday night for comment.

Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of NBC Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, has been missing for 11 days. The disappearance and search have since sparked nationwide attention. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said items at the scene indicated Nancy did not leave “on her own.”

Fox News Digital reports that law enforcement is working on an official description of the person captured on recovered video by Guthrie’s Nest camera. There is no guarantee or timeline for release of the description, Fox News Digital notes.
The update comes one day after the FBI publicized images and videos obtained from Guthrie’s doorbell camera showing a masked subject with a holstered handgun at her front door. The person was also seen wearing gloves and a backpack.

Investigators on Wednesday recovered a black glove about 1 1/2 miles from Nancy’s home, the New York Post reports.
Law enforcement also detained an individual Tuesday night in connection with Guthrie’s disappearance and searched a home in Rio Rico, Arizona, CNN reported, citing the sheriff’s department. The man, identified as delivery driver Carlos Palazuelos, was cleared of any wrongdoing and released, multiple media outlets reported.
The FBI on Wednesday morning conducted an “extensive search” along roads in the Catalina Foothills vicinity related to Guthrie’s disappearance.
