Although there are speculations that Angela Deem could potentially feature on 90 Day: The Single Life, I believe her journey with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise is over. When the Georgia native debuted on the show in 2018, I was just as happy for her as everyone else. I respected Angela’s bold personality and enjoyed watching her romance with her Nigerian boyfriend, Michael Ilesanmi. Unfortunately, things didn’t remain as joyful for long. Angela disappointed many viewers like me when she changed her behavior and became self-centered. She also stopped being nice to Michael and forced him to follow her orders.

Angela went to the luxury resort with the divorce papers but tore them apart because she realized Michael had improved his behavior. Sadly, things changed in the following season after Michael came to the United States. Angela continued to abuse him, which led him to run away.

Angela and Michael seemed to be on good terms when they finished filming 90 Day: The Last Resort. Therefore, I was shocked to see that they started fighting over new issues when they returned to TV. Angela discovered that Michael hid many things from her, including his savings and a WhatsApp group called Paradise Men. Meanwhile, Michael realized that Angela was still as abusive to him as before and didn’t really learn anything from the marriage counseling. He felt disheartened but still chose to continue his marriage to Angela.

I recently learned rumors that Michael is already dating other women and apparently actively seeking a new partner, which is why he may appear on 90 Day: The Single Life.

I think Michael is no longer worried about Angela and is solely focused on achieving his dream of becoming a popular celebrity on social media.

He recently shared an Instagram post by @90dayfiance_alexa, boasting about becoming a TikTok star with over 2 million views. In the video, Michael danced to a song by a Nigerian rapper. While I’m not particularly impressed with Michael’s moves, I think he is much happier living independently without financial support from Angela. He wants to remain relevant in the reality TV genre and make money as a content creator.

Shortly after Michael left Angela, he did an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he discussed his future plans. I didn’t sense much disappointment in him over the end of his 7-year-long relationship, but rather more excitement about upcoming opportunities. In his own words, Michael expressed his desire to be successful and “take advantage of the system here.” He mentioned being open to any offers by “the network or any other TV show.”

Michael said he had grown accustomed to being on TV for six years and was now used to fame.

I recently watched her interview with Virtual Reali-Tea, where she discussed her plans to find love again. My heart almost broke for her when her voice cracked before answering a question. She nearly started crying when she replied, “I don’t think so,” when asked if she wanted to find love again. It was evident how much Michael’s actions hurt Angela, as she simply said “no” to moving on.

During the interview, Angela discussed her future goals. She expressed interest in being a voice of reason and clearing her name after Michael accused her of verbal abuse. Angela also mentioned, “I’m gonna be a voice for every man and woman that think they have misused a foreign spousal visa.” I see that Angela’s priorities have shifted away from seeking attention on TV and staying in the limelight. Her focus is now on activism. I hope the 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum feels fulfilled in achieving her new goals, even though I dislike her for mistreating Michael.
