The Traitors star Stephen made another major error as viewers continue to baffled he hasn’t been caught.
The Scottish Traitor recently found himself facing heat at the roundtable thanks to Jessie’s ‘library’ theory – however Fiona’s banishment got him off the hook.
But despite seemingly in the clear for now, viewers picked up on a major mistake he made during Wednesday’s episode.
The mistake fans were referring to was after breakfast where Stephen headed into the kitchen to speak to Harriet to try and cover for Rachel, and check if she had suspicions on him.
He said: ‘I’ve got zero suss on Rachel. And this morning in breakfast when you said “Look at who isn’t going for Rachel and who’s protecting her. I’m not protecting her by saying that.’
However it could lead to his downfall as while Stephen believed she had said it at the chaotic breakfast, Harriet actually made the comment during the confessional – meaning only he and Rachel would have heard it.

The slip up appeared to go over Harriet’s head, as she replied: ‘No, no don’t worry at all. If I can put it this way you’re not on my list.’
Calling out his slip up, viewers wrote: ‘Unless they cut out some stuff, I’m sure Harriet never mentioned she’ll be watching out for who defends Rachel at breakfast…she only mentioned it to the traitors Stephen may have just done himself over,’;
‘Ooops. I think Stephen might have just dropped his camouflage… He said to Harriet, “you said at the table to watch out for people protecting Rachel” Oh Stephen. She didn’t say that at the table. SHE SAID IT AT THE CONFESSIONAL.’
But it’s his facial expressions that really leave people wondering how Stephen hasn’t been caught.
Other viewers said: ‘STEPHEN IS LITERALLY BRIGHT PINK,’; ‘How can the look at Stephen at every round table and think he is not a traitor he looks so guilty!’;
‘Does no one ever clock Stephen’s flush at every round table,’; ‘Just looking at Stephen, I’ve ever seen anyone look as guilty in my life,’;
‘Why are not suss of the fact that stephen is bright red at the round table all the time?’; ‘Is no one ever gonna mention that Stephen turns pink at every round table.’
Just last week viewers predicted that Stephen’s days in the castle are numbered, after he made another major fumble during the roundtable.

The previous night had seen him and his fellow Traitor Rachel put nine of the contestants on trial for murder in plain sight, by marking their names with red finger prints on the family tree displayed in the hallway.
Host Claudia Winkleman revealed the twist at breakfast, saying: ‘While they did not commit a murder, they did put nine of you on trial for murder. They did this yesterday in plain sight.’
As the Faithful tried to work out how the nine had been chosen, Ellie discovered the red marks on the family tree, leading the group trying to narrow down who could have made them.
Maz asked: ‘Surely at some point somebody must have noticed, some one had to be walking past here and doing this.’
Eager to push suspicion away from Rachel and himself, Stephen decided to put the blame on Maz, as he had seen him and Roxie by the picture only moments before Rachel had made the marks.
In his confessional, he confessed to feeling the pressure, saying: ‘I was not expecting this and I’m anxious for myself and Rachel. I’m going to have to pin it on Maz.’
Wasting no time at the roundtable, Stephen was quick to attempt his plan of planting the seeds of suspicion on Maz, as he began: ‘There’s one point I wanted to make.
‘These murders in plain sight, they are designed to give us clues. Because you’re asking the Traitors to do something, while everyone is running wild around the castle. So who was the last person I saw at that painting?’

Other viewers said: ‘STEPHEN IS LITERALLY BRIGHT PINK,’; ‘How can the look at Stephen at every round table and think he is not a traitor he looks so guilty!’
However, he accidentally let slip evidence about his own guilt in the process, as he mistakenly inferred that he’d been thinking about the murder plot the night previously, despite the Faithful only being made aware that morning.
He said: ‘And I’ve spoken to you before Maz, through this process. And so I was thinking to myself last night, you know – oh sorry this morning, after we found out how the thing was done. That you were the last person I saw there.’
Despite his attempts to gloss over the Freudian slip and it appearing to go unnoticed by the other players, fans watching at home clocked the blunder immediately and rushed to X to declare it was a sign that Stephen’s banishment was imminent.
They wrote: ‘Stephen is so stressed he’s literally gone pink… He looks so guilty and he let slip that he was thinking about it last night… Stephen noooooo.’
‘Stephen is not going to last much longer. Accidentally saying last night instead of this morning, trying to pretend the little group chat doesn’t have a traitor and sitting there sweating’.
