NEW REVELATION: Karmelo Anthony’s past is set to be exposed in a 75-page documentary as he fights for a retr!al in the murd3r case

EXPLOSIVE new details about Karmelo Anthony’s violent background are set to be revealed in court as prosecutors are set to break down a 75-page document in court.

Anthony, 19, is pushing for a new trial after being convicted of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf, 17, at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, on April 2, 2024.

A ruling could be made on Friday about whether Anthony received a fair trial in June after his defense team successfully removed Judge John Roach, who presided over the case, from the appeal process.

During Thursday’s hearing, the public heard shocking details about a closed-door agreement prosecutors and Anthony’s trial team made to keep the troubled records of Anthony and Metcalf from the jury and the public.

The gentleman’s deal was made as an effort from both sides to combat threats and racial tensions that surrounded the case.

Prosecutor Bill Wirskye shared details about Anthony’s troubled past as an adolescent, which included alleged obsessions with guns, knives, and fights.

The prosecution is expected to dissect Anthony’s violent background during Friday’s hearing, which includes school records, cell phone data, and police reports.

Anthony allegedly had trouble keeping his hands to himself, and his parents were forced to take him to a program for troubled kids.

Wirskye revealed that on the day of the stabbing, Anthony’s ex-girlfriend, Valerie Perez, reported him to an assistant principal at their school.

Perez claimed Anthony had been stalking her after she ended their relationship.

On the day of the stabbing, Anthony texted Perez a photo of the knife he used in Metcalf’s killing, and told her, “I’m low key on the verge,” Wirskye said.

Anthony also threatened Perez with the knife in a separate text, and in another message, telling her, “When I stab somebody I’m gonna lick their blood off the blade,” the prosecutor added.

Wirskye said Anthony had a picture of the knife saved on his phone.

Meanwhile, Metcalf also had his encounters with law enforcement, according to documents showed in court.

Metcalf and his twin brother, Hunter, received a 12-month juvenile probation sentence in connection with a graffiti incident, where they expressed racist and antisemitic language.

The brothers were caught spray painting graffiti that read “KKK kill all blacks” and “Heil Hitler,” Mike Howard, Anthony’s trial attorney, testified on Thursday.

He added that when the twins were approached by police, Metcalf told them he and his brother did “some dumb stuff,” and “we did some vandalism.”

Metcalf had a history of using the N-word in school and in messages with friends, Howard said.

Records from 2023 showed Metcalf bullied another Black student, but was not disciplined.

A month before he was killed, Metcalf was ordered to stay away from a different Black student he was accused of bullying, Howard told the court.

Several parents of cheerleaders at Frisco Memorial High School, where the twins attended, said their children were afraid of Hunter and Metcalf.

In May 2018, when the twins were 10 years old and attending elementary school, they were arrested on assault charges for bullying a female classmate, records showed.

The victim accidentally touched Metcalf in the face, angering him, and he proceeded to forcefully shove the girl to the ground using both hands, Howard said.

The female student was taken to the hospital with bruises and pain in her shoulder.

Howard said that in December 2024, Metcalf was forced to go to a church group for those consumed by anger, lust, and addiction.

“There were many incidents on both sides,” Howard said while being questioned by Anthony’s new attorney, Russell Wilson.

“Early in the case there was a leak of documents. There was a concern anything in writing could end up in the public’s hands.

“If you put it in writing, and it gets leaked and reported on, what good is the agreement if it gets leaked?

“That was the point of the verbal agreement.”

Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, said the details about his son’s juvenile record made him feel disappointed as a parent.

“We all want our children to be the best they can be, and obviously, we all fall short,” Jeff told NewsNation.

“It still doesn’t change the facts of the case.”
