Fox News, citing information from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, reported that several people were killed in a shooting at a residential home in Sarasota County, Florida, on February 10 (local time).

The incident took place at a house on Fallcrest Circle, in the Amberlea gated community. Immediately after receiving the report, law enforcement deployed a large force to cordon off the scene.

Authorities have confirmed multiple fatalities but have not yet released their identities. According to WWSB, no survivors have been found at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office stated that the incident initially did not pose a threat to the surrounding community.

Investigators are still conducting examinations and gathering evidence. Local media reports that a gun was recovered at the scene.

There is currently no information about the suspect, and no arrests have been announced. The cause of the shooting is still under investigation.
