The week-long search for Nancy Guthrie, mother of NBC “Today” show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, has intensified with fresh law enforcement activity at multiple family properties.
Authorities executed what appeared to be a search warrant at the home of Annie Guthrie, Nancy’s daughter and Savannah’s sister, late Saturday night, Feb. 7.

Witnesses observed deputies and bright flashes likely from crime scene photography inside the residence for at least three hours, according to CNN.
The overnight search came one day after investigators conducted a large-scale evidence seizure at Nancy’s own Tucson, Arizona property Friday, Feb. 6. During that operation, authorities seized a blue Subaru SUV believed to belong to the missing 84-year-old mom and grandmother.
FBI agents were also seen scaling the roof of Nancy’s house to recover a “wired device” or camera that may have been overlooked during the initial investigation.

Earlier Daily Voice reporting revealed the staggering dollar amount of the ransom demand, though specific details have not been publicly disclosed.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the night of Friday, Jan. 31, after being dropped off at her home following a family dinner. She was reported missing Saturday, Feb. 1, when she failed to show up for church.
Investigators have confirmed that blood found on the front porch belonged to Nancy and have declared the home a crime scene. Her doorbell camera and pacemaker app were reportedly disconnected shortly before she disappeared.

The case took a dramatic turn when authorities began investigating two separate ransom notes. The Guthrie family has released an emotional video response stating, “We received your message, and we understand,” adding “we will pay.”
As of Sunday, Feb. 8, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has not identified any suspects or persons of interest in the case. The investigation enters its seventh day with no arrests made.
