THE FACE OF A TRA!TOR: The Man Who Watched His Wife’s Final Moments
MEXICO CITY – As the nation demands justice for the u.n.l.i.v.e.d beauty queen c, the spotlight has shifted from the fugitive mother-in-law to a figure many now consider the ultimate villain of this tragedy: her husband, Alejandro ‘N’.
New evidence from the Polanco apartment suggests that Alejandro wasn’t just a witness to his wife’s d.e.a.t.h—he was a silent spectator who chose a “blood pact” over the mother of his child.

The Leaked 60-Second Horror
A leaked video from the nursery’s b.a.b.y monitor has stripped away Alejandro’s defense. The footage reportedly shows the immediate aftermath of the six f.i.r.e.a.r.m echoes. While the infant cried in the background, Alejandro is seen entering the frame. His reaction was not one of panic or a desperate attempt to save Carolina, but a hauntingly calm exchange with his mother, Erika María ‘N’.
Sources close to the investigation reveal that instead of calling emergency services, Alejandro stood by as his mother reportedly told him, “She is gone, and now you are mine again.”
The “Bleach and Betrayal” Timeline
The most damning evidence against the 8-month-old b.a.b.y’s father is the 24-hour silence. For an entire day, Carolina lay on the floor of their luxury Luis González Urbina residence while the air filled with the scent of cleaning chemicals.
Investigators have discovered that several areas of the crime scene were scrubbed with bleach during that window. While Alejandro claims he was “paralyzed by fear” and focusing on “protecting the l.i.t.t.l.e one,” the Prosecutor’s office is questioning why he waited until his mother was safely out of the city to finally report the “discovery” of the body.

From Grieving Husband to Prime Suspect?
The “mask” of the grieving widower has completely fallen. Public records now being scrutinized reveal a history of Alejandro prioritizing his mother’s political reputation and wealth over his wife’s safety. Friends of Carolina have come forward, describing a “controlled environment” where the ex-beauty queen was often isolated by the mother-son duo.
“You don’t wait 24 hours to report the end of the woman you love unless you are helping the person who did it,” said a lead forensic analyst on the case.
The Nation Demands an Arrest
As Erika María ‘N’ remains a fugitive with an active International Immigration Alert, the public’s rage is boiling over toward the man who gave her a head start. Protests have sparked outside the Polanco complex, with placards calling Alejandro the “Polanco Tra!tor.”
While he has not yet been formally charged as an accomplice, the latest inconsistencies in his statement have placed him under “permanent surveillance.” For millions of followers who watched Carolina’s life through her content, the betrayal by the man in her photos is the deepest wound of all.

Video reveals scene with mother-in-law before Carolina Flores’ killing
The murder of 27-year-old Carolina Flores has sparked both a digital and a grassroots uprising, reflected in widespread reactions on social media and an in-person march demanding justice for the former beauty queen, who was killed on April 15.
On Saturday, April 25, family members, friends, and dozens of citizens — most of them women — gathered to march in Ensenada, Baja California, surrounded by a sea of posters and T-shirts bearing Flores’ image, white balloons, and chants demanding justice.
Among those who spoke during the march was Carolina’s mother, Reyna Gómez.
“My heart is shattered. My mind can’t comprehend everything that happened and what we are living through now,” Gómez said in front of the crowd. “I don’t have words to express the immense pain I am going through. My tears are not enough to release this pain I feel.”
A mother’s grief, unanswered questions, and a nationwide call for justice
Another voice calling for justice on the afternoon of April 25 was María del Socorro, a resident of Ensenada.
“We are here because of the feeling, the pain, the injustice, and the lack of criteria shown by the government in clarifying this case and many others,” María del Socorro told the press. “We have many women who are missing, and that’s why I am here.”
However, the demand for justice was not the only focus of Saturday’s march. Protesters also denounced what they described as longstanding signs of contempt by Érika María Guadalupe Herrera — Carolina’s mother-in-law and the alleged perpetrator of the femicide — toward the former beauty queen, as pointed out by Juliana Cortéz, a close friend of Flores.
“She didn’t understand why her mother-in-law didn’t love her,” Cortéz said. “They never had a good relationship, and it hurt her deeply because Carolina was someone who didn’t like conflict.”
It is known that prior to the murder, Herrera traveled to Mexico City with one of the couple’s dogs that had been left in Ensenada when they moved, leading to speculation that she “used the dog to get to Mexico City.”
An arrest warrant is issued as investigators examine possible complicity
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office reported on Thursday, April 23, that an arrest warrant for femicide was issued against Érika María Guadalupe Herrera, who remains a fugitive.
Unofficial reports also indicate that although Carolina Flores’ husband, Alejandro Sánchez Herrera, is currently free, prosecutors are investigating him for possible complicity and/or omission in the murder. It is alleged that he reported the model’s death a day after the incident, claiming he did so to protect their 8-month-old baby, who is still breastfeeding, and to make preparations in case he was detained.
These reports emerged one week after the murder of the former beauty queen — the same period in which extended footage was leaked beyond the initial video shared publicly. The footage allegedly shows that Érika María Guadalupe Herrera acted with all aggravating factors: premeditation, treachery, and advantage.
In the extended video, there is no argument between Carolina and her mother-in-law. Instead, they are seen calmly talking about Herrera’s road trip from Ensenada to Mexico City.
Carolina: “No way, you came by car? How long did it take?”
Érika María: “Yes, since Saturday.”
Carolina: “Oh.”
Carolina: “And how did León (her dog) behave?”
Érika María: “Fine, just a little dizzy, but not too bad.”
Carolina: “Didn’t he throw up?”
Érika María: “No, because we would stop so he could go to the bathroom. …”
New video evidence intensifies outrage over the femicide that shocked Mexico
At that moment, what sounds like a police siren can be heard from the street.
Érika María: “What’s going on?”
Carolina: “Nothing, there’s increased security because someone was killed around here recently.”
Next, Érika María — who appears throughout the video with both hands in her pockets — walks to the window to look outside. Shortly after, she asks Carolina for a bottle of water.
Érika María: “Could you give me a bottle of water?”
Carolina: “Yes, of course.”
What happens next had already been seen in the earlier video: Carolina goes into the kitchen, her mother-in-law follows her, and once there, she shoots Carolina six times. This reveals clear premeditation (the gun was already in her pocket), treachery (she appeared friendly during the conversation), and advantage (Carolina was unarmed and did not expect the attack).
In the digital space, accusations against the Sánchez Herrera family — the family of Carolina’s husband — have been unavoidable. The image of Érika “N,” used by authorities to locate her, continues to circulate widely across all social media platforms.
